R & S Genetics is owned and operated by Keith Richardson and Ty Stead. Keith has produced quality breeding stock for 34 years and show pigs for 36 years. With a degree in Animal Science and a successful livestock judging career, Keith not only knows how to pick out great pigs, he also knows how to breed and produce them. Ty is a recent college graduate and has shown pigs for 16 years. Ty has a great knowledge of today's popular genetic lines and how to successfully show and feed pigs.

As a team, Keith and Ty are committed to producing high quality, uniform showpigs which will prove to be among the best in the showring. These pigs will grow, are easy to feed, structurally sound, and are high health pigs. Our sow herd is composed of two of the top producing firms in the United States, Rodibaugh and Stohlquist. By mating these sows and their daughters to the top boars available we will have a great selection of pigs for the 2011 show season.
